Here Is The Best Instant Pot Dinner Recipe List For The Cozy Season (1)

I know that millennials and our moms were all OBSESSED with the Crock-Pot, but this is my petition to make the InstantPot a lazy but bougie Zillennial’s staple appliance. Since getting one for Christmas last year, I’ve learned that the capabilities of the InstantPot are nearly endless. Lately, however, I’ve been extra excited about using it to make cozy dinners and other recipes. I don’t know what it is about a pressure/slow cooker, but they really make things taste DELICIOUS and cozy. So, to get on into it, here is the best instant pot dinner recipe (along with a few other meals) list.

Sweet Potato and Turkey Chili

I absolutely adore using sweet potatoes in the fall, and if you have any turkey leftover from thanksgiving that could be perfect. Regardless, this dish is cozy to the max. It’s a great way to get some protein and veggies into your diet while still making a home-cooked cozy masterpiece. Dig into this dish with friends, roommates, your date, or all by yourself. Like with what I do with a lot of these recipes, I’ll make the whole family-sized serving and save my generous amount of leftovers for meals throughout the next week.

Pot Roast

I never knew how much I love pot roast until I had it recently as an adult. My mom used to make it a lot when I was a kid, and it was good, but I thought most of the food my parents made when I was younger was good. Pot Roast, on the other hand, slaps. It also doesn’t have to be as expensive as it seems, cheap stew meat and whatever veggies you have on hand might make the most delicious roast. Feel free to get creative with it or keep it traditional, this cozy home-cooked meal can be hard to mess up.

Baked Feta Pasta

Let’s hop on this trend but with an InstantPot version – so it’s even easier! If you loved baked feta and tomatoes pasta, you’ll love this simplified variation. Slow cooking this one also lets the flavors get richer and more and more pronounced. The gooey cheesiness of this dish gives it prime coziness factors to me, so it’s a definite must-try.

French Onion Soup

French Onion Soup feels so fancy and also so cozy especially on a cold day– bonus points if it’s also rainy. Making it in the InstantPot can make it all the more enjoyable because you don’t have to work as hard! Make sure you have bread on hand and dig into this soup to warm your belly and your heart.

Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal

If you’re one of those people who love pumpkin spice and everything nice, then you’ll love this way you can use your InstantPot. Making oats of any flavor is in your capabilities, but the cozy season calls for some pumpkin spice. Enjoy this meal for breakfast, or even as breakfast for dinner but sit back and let your InstantPot do the work.

Corn Chowder

I don’t know if they served corn chowder at your elementary school, but I distinctly remember being SO happy on the days when we did get to eat corn chowder at school, especially if it was rainy or a little chilly out. It was the ultimate cozy food for me, and it makes sense why. The warm creaminess and delicious flavors are sure to heat anyone up on a cold day. So, why not make this favorite at home? This InstantPot recipe makes making corn chowder WAY simpler than normal and is rewarding all the same.

Spaghetti and Meatballs

Sometimes comfort food doesn’t get any more comfortable than spaghetti and meatballs. Honestly, it’s such a classic that anyone would likely have nostalgic attachments to it or love the warm tastiness of the dish. Like the other InstantPot recipes, this one simplifies the dish to one pot and less overall time. That’s a win, win, win!

Butternut Squash Lentil Curry

If you’re looking to use more of the cozy season’s flavors, look no further than this butternut squash and lentil curry. This is sure to bring some warmth to your palette but also maybe mix things up from the more traditional comfort foods on this list. This curry is delicious all the same and would make for a great warm and cozy lunch or dinner.

Apple Crisp

Speaking of cozy-season produce, apples are IN! We love a good apple dessert and this apple crisp is no exception. Not only is this dessert warm and ooey-gooey, it’s also a quick and easy take on something that will turn out super duper delicious. If you’re serving this to guests, they’ll have no clue you put minimal effort into this apple crisp, because it’ll taste like the maximum effort.

Apple Cider

Finally, with even more apples, we have some apple cider. You’d be surprised by the bounds (our boundlessness) of an InstaPot’s capabilities. Warm drinks are a GO and this tasty and cozy apple cider recipe is here to prove it. While it’s an easy drink thanks to our InstantPot, it’s also a deliciously fancy variation that is sure to ‘wow’ guests or keeps you cozy all night long.
